I've Never Seen a REAL Princess! || Life Event

Hello to all the readers!
I know you did not hear from me for quite a while, but- here it is!
I'm sharing with you today the photos from my birthday praty, as promised.

The party was themed as a Waltz Picnic Tea Birthday Party, so we enjoyed tea and listened to waltz all along!
And of course the tea was served in that gorgeous polka-dot teapot from Belarus :)

I think it is important to mention, although I think some of you could guess- the entire birthday feast was vegan.

Here are some more photos of the guests and my outfit...
I love that dress so much! It makes me feel like Audrey in Givenchy's dress in the movie Sabrina (or, at least, the closest to Audrey I could ever feel).
It is SO poufy! it has three petticoats underneath!

And how can you have a Waltz Party wothout some waltz dances? ;)

At the end of the party, a little girl came to me and gave me a flower. She said she have never seen a real life princess and asked where is my castle... That was adorable! I wish she came earlier and joined us!
I am considering dressing as a princess and walking in random parks- then I'll have tea parties and take photos with little girls, and tell them about my life as a princess :D

dress: Modcloth (oh no! out of stock, similar) || flats: Modcloth (out of stock too) ||
pendant : a gift from Nadav for my birthday, he got it at Lumina Jewellery, on his trip to the UK||
tiara: Ebay || lipstick: Revlon Fire&Ice

P.S: Madison from Minnie Muse nominated me for the Versatile Bloggers Award- you can read about it on her blog. This is so exciting! I'll follow the rules of the award in the next post.

This post is dedicated to my father, who passed away from cancer less than a month ago, which is the main reason of me not blogging lately.
Those photos were the last thing I talked to him about- I brought my laptop to the hospital to show him my birthday party photos. He always loved that I dressed that way, and took photos of myself (he showed my video to EVERYONE, including the nurses in the hospital).
I showed them to him in the morning of 9th of September, and he passed away that evening, at 55 years old.
I won't go into more details, but I know everything is going to change now...

Here is a family photo, I think about 20 years ago. I am the smallest

Rainbow Valley || Outfit

I think it is probably the best Anne of Green Gables post name so far! Don't you think?
Well, this time I visited a friend who was house-sitting (as well as cat-sitting the family's cat), and we went for a walk and a photoshoot around the city their apartment is plced in, Tel-Aviv.

Did you notice that nice Mobile Library in the middle of the park? I grabbed a Heidi book and took some photos with it ☺

Another thing that happened lately- I quitted my job! I feel so free now, like I have all the time in the world. But along with it, I'm a bit sad, because even though I did not like that job at all, I did met some kindred spirits that I had hard time to leave behind. And the nice avocado orchard I always read books in during lunch breaks! It was the saddest farewell of all...

And now I have a little more the a month of doing whatever I want (read: mathematics! I have to get ready for Uni!!), and then I'll have a new home (but I'll have the old one, too), new setting, and somehow- a new life.

I just hope I'll find time to do everything I used to do before...

blouse : twentyfourseven || skirt : Modcloth (sadly out of stock) || flats : a gift from Nadav
necklace : Modcloth (mine is in color gold) || earrings : hand-me-down from sister ||
lipstick : Revlon Moon Drops in Love That Pink #575

A Very Merry Unbirthday to You!

Hey darlings! :)
Well, yesterday (16/08) was my 22nd birthday! Yay!
I wanted to shoot birthday outfit photos for you, but unfortunatly I forgot my lipstick somewhere in the apartment I rented for University AND ate ice-cream before I took the photos.... So you can probably imagine the amount lipstick was left on my lips when I got home (read- none!).

I did not celebrate it yesterday, anyway.  Nadav is on a two week trip to England, Scotland and Ireland, so when he comes back I'll make a birthday praty outfit post!

Instead, I bring to you my Unbirthday post, on my first Unbirthday in the age of 22.
Here are some facts about important (to me) people's life in the age of 22, just to encourage myselt a bit (or maybe just fruastrate myself, as I did not achieve anything half as significant yet).

So... when they were 22, they:

Abert Einstein published his first paper

Anne (from Green Gable Series) moved to Windy Poplars and started working as the principal of Summerside High School

Lord Byron wrote Maid of Athens ere we part, and already had a few poem books published

Audrey Hepburn starred in the Broadway play Gigi and won a Theatre World Award

My mother got married

Lucy Maud Montgomery already had her teaching certificate for two years

Lewis Caroll graduated with a B.A in Mathematics

Mary Costa voiced Aourora in Disney's  Sleeping Beauty

Charles Darwin went on his five-year voyage around the world

Prince Phillip and Prince Naveen were this age when their story happened

Julie Andrews appeared on television as Cinderella in a musical with the same name, and released her debut solo album

Max Planck presented his habilitation thesis

Queen Victoria was already the queen of England for four (!) years

Beethoven began studiyng with Hydn, and gained a reputition as a virtuoso pianist

And here is me, wearing my birthday crown,
in my newly rented aprtment, next to the apartment's cat, George.
That's how I look when I'm 22!
I'll be a Physics student this year, and I'll tell you what I achieved when I'm done being 22 ☺

P.S: I have just fount out there is a whole book full with those facts called When They Were 22 :O
